COR 67 is our group for 6 and 7th graders. This group meets on Sunday nights in the Living room for snacks and recreation. Then they join the Living 412 youth group for worship and then split off to the CORidor for their own Bible study.

Hey COR 67 Students and Parents!

Now that everyone is settled into their Middle Schools, we want to make sure you have all the info to help you settle into your COR 67 activities at First Methodist Church. Here is the Run Down on the things COR 67:

SUNDAY SCHOOL:

WE have a Sunday School Class for 6th and 7th Graders that meets in the COR 67 Room at 11:00 on Sunday mornings. This class is taught by Charlie Tyler! Since we do not offer a class for this age group during the 9:30 hour, you are invited to the 9:30 worship service in the Celebration Center- You can sit with your family or you can sit with Brandi Wright and the COR group!

COR 67 SUNDAY NIGHTS:

Beginning September 13th, we will have COR 67 on Sunday evenings! On the first night, plan to meet in the COR 67 Room with your parents at 5:00. On this night you can order your See You at the Pole shirt (more on this later). After this first week you will meet up in the Living Room with the Living 412 youth group for fellowship and snacks (bring some money for the snack bar) and also for the large group worship time. Then you will split off and head over to your own space for COR 67 group. Don't worry Jim and Brandi will help you find your way around! Be sure and tell your parents to pick you up at 7:00 near the COR 67 room.

MID HIGH COLLISION, WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

WE will be offering a Middle School Bible Study on Wednesday nights from 6-7pm. Meet in the COR 67 Room for this study planned by Marci and Mel just for your age group. This group will officially start on September 23rd, but read ahead for more info about a special event !

SEE YOU AT THE POLE RALLY!!!!

See You at the Pole is a nationally organized prayer meeting at the flag poles of middle and highschools all over our great nation! First Methodist Church will be hosting Farmington's See You at the Pole Rally on Wednesday August 16th, at 6:30pm. This event will include worship time and some planning time for the students to organize themselves by schools and have a solid plan for what See You at the Pole will look like at their school! You can order See You at the Pole T-shirts from Melinda. The price range is $10-$17 and we will have samples of the T-shirts at COR 67 on Septemeber 13th- Last night to order. See samples ahead of time in the Living Room. September 23 is the actual date for the See You at the Pole event held at local schools!

ROADIES!!!

If you would be interested in helping us lead worship at the 10:30 Kid's Worship Time in the Joy Center on Sunday Mornings, read on! WE are looking for a groups who would help by leading the kids in the motions of the songs. this is a place for you to minister to others! We will meet on Sundays from 3:30-4:30 for practice, beginning on September 13.
