Sunday School for Kindergarten thru 5th grade meets in the KID Zone at the Joy Center (801 N. Monterey) at 9:30 and 11:00.  PowerXpress is the curriculum we use.  This is a hands on rotational program.  We have the same theme for 6 weeks and children rotate to a different station each week.  The stations include: art, cooking, games, science, storytelling, and video.  The same program is used during both Sunday School hours to facilitate families worshipping together.  Go to www.powerxpress.com to find out more about the PowerXpress program.

Between the Sunday School hours you can join us for a Family Worship Time which is designed for kids and their families. The special worship time is from 10:30-11:30 each Sunday Morning in the KID Zone at the Joy Center

Spotlight on Children’s Ministries Volunteer Needs:

 

Video Editor:  We need a volunteer who is able to video (we have camera) and then edit short video skits for the Children’s Sunday School program.  Would work with Marci and the Sunday School teaching team in the planning of the videos and then would be turned loose to do your creative thing!   Skits are very short and simple.  Call Marci at 947-9200 for more information.  Need someone to start ASAP.
